Aww man. I know this doesn't help the situation now, but people believe it's a pattern of what time the clue goes up. Day 1 was 9am UK time and Day 2 was 10am UK. So, if the pattern is correct then it would be 11am there. So, whatever time you were on this morning, add an hour and hopefully you'll have another chance.
If you really want to have early access and you can't get an account before August 6, if you go on tumblr people are giving away their extra accounts (I hate how they made a bunch in the first place. They took other people's spots and chances).

I just tried to solve the 2nd day clue! But they closed registration already, even though I had the answer I couldn't do it :(
